What A Long Week

We had a very long week last week. As you all know my DH's father died of lung cancer early Monday morning. He dies peacefully in his sleep, thank God. On Tuesday we had to tell the girls, Bailey the oldest was crushed, we took her out of school for the week. On Wednesday we had the viewing, DH handled it quite well. The thing that upset him the most is how upset Bailey was, she was a total wreak. Poor Girl, I felt so bad for her and nothing I did made her feel better. We tried to explain to her that he was with his father and no longer in pain but she did not care she just wanted her pop-pop. I do not blame her. Then on Thursday we had the actual funeral, it was beautiful, he was buried with military honors.
My MIL believes that his father came to get him that night, because he was sitting in his chair and reached out to him and was talking to his father. I believe this as well. It's nice to think that someone comes to get you, so that you are not scared.

Leave Me Your Thoughts

and here is her speech from when she won at NH

What is this world coming to?

I heard today that a man threw his children over a bridge. What is this all about, it make me sick?! What would posses anyone to do this kind of thing? Then I hear that he is not only an illegal immigrant, but has a criminal record in his country. What the hell? Now this story does not having anything to do with race or that only illegals do it. Besides the grotesque nature of this crime, which is obvious, the thing that caught my eye is the fact that anybody can get into our country. In this day and age and with us at war and at great risk, our boarders should be better protected. I know that it is harsh to say, but I believe in closed boarders. How are we supposed to protect ourselves when people can come in at will.
Another thing that gets me about illegals is how cheap they work. Employers hire them and our men lose their jobs, because they believe in an America where you are paid a fair wage for you effort. This is unfair the the legals of this country. Why should we be alienated in our own country by people that did not follow the right avenues to get here.

If you Agree

If you agree with the statement below than you must join us happy housewives. Darla Shine has written a book that saved my life. This book is great and will really help you out if your are in the "Housewife Rut", this book was made for people like us.

This is the best book that I have ever read, it literally saved my life. There is a whole community of housewives that do not know where they would be without this book. I was too a "A whining, miserable, desperate housewife", I hated myself. When I got up in the morning I hated to go about what needed to be done, and I stayed in my PJ's unless I had to go out somewhere, and even then I was a mess. I could not get out of my own way. My house was a mess, I was a mess, and my family was becoming a mess. It was a getting away from me, so I was cruising amazon looking for a savior and I found it in Darla Shine's Happy Housewives! I read the book cover to cover in one night and started implementing the 10 easy steps the next day, in a matter of weeks my house was in order, I felt like a million bucks, my kids where happy and getting a long better, and my husband and I well, lets just say "teenagers again". It has been a little over a year since I got the book and I still read it cover to cover. I will never forget Darla and how her book saved my life.

I have seen first hand from the actual women who's life has been changed by this book. Ladies if you drop by and read the book then leave a comment and tell us how Darla changed your life. Click on the pic to buy it on Amazon!

What You'll Get Here

This is my blog and I am here to tell you that I am a Happy housewife and stay at home mom. I will shout it from the rooftops. This is something that I am veer proud of. I am not ashamed to say that I stay home with my kids and that I take care of my husband. My family is my life. I am going back to school on-line, but I will not go back to work until my children have grown up. I believe a women should have a career and be educated, but once a family hits the picture it is the womens career to be the “Manager of their home”. It does not matter what men say about them being the head of the house it is really the wife. Just like a wise women once said, “The man may be the head of the house, but the women is the neck and can turn the head in which ever direction it pleases.”

I believe in old time America, where the women were cooking delicious meals and taking care of the kids, all the while looking impeccable. They wanted to keep their man happy, and no one was more qualified to take care of the kids. I do not feel that someone with a degree in early childhood, is more qualified to take care of my children than me. No Way!

I do not understand why fems hate men so much, or why they feel that being a housewife is not goof enough for them. There is no job more important. So on this blog you will find things that come from a housewives mind and if you are a feminist you will most likely not find anything here for you.
